Education
I was a Communication Studies Major at Crandall University in Moncton, Canada. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2001. I took some post-graduation studies in Shakespeare and Classical Drama at Regent's Park College of Oxford University, England. This was a partnership program between my home university and Oxford University. I have already enrolled at the Ruhr University of Bochum for German language training, and will be applying for a Master of Arts program in the upcoming semester.
Experience
-Six years teaching English as a second language in South Korea. I worked for four private schools on a contractual basis. I taught from ages 6 to 14, as well as some adult students. -Four and a half years teaching English as a second language in Canada. I worked for a multicultural association funded by the federal government, teaching English to adult immigrants and refugees. I have also attended numerous seminars and conferences for TESOL training, as well as the LINC training program in Canada. I am always looking for new ways to hone my skills in teaching English.
