Education
I was a Communication Studies Major at Crandall University in Moncton, Canada. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2001. I took some post-graduation studies in Shakespeare and Classical Drama at Regent's Park College of Oxford University, England. This was a partnership program between my home university and Oxford University. I have already enrolled at the Ruhr University of Bochum for German language training, and will be applying for a Master of Arts program in the upcoming semester.
Experience
-Six years teaching English as a second language in South Korea. I worked for four private schools on a contractual basis. I taught from ages 6 to 14, as well as some adult students. -Four and a half years teaching English as a second language in Canada. I worked for a multicultural association funded by the federal government, teaching English to adult immigrants and refugees. I have also attended numerous seminars and conferences for TESOL training, as well as the LINC training program in Canada. I am always looking for new ways to hone my skills in teaching English.

Hobbies
I very much enjoy music. I have been playing the guitar for twenty three years. I have even taught a guitar for beginners class through the multicultural association I worked for in Canada. This was an extra-curricular class I developed for the immigrants and refugees who really wanted to learn to play the guitar. I collect vinyl LPs and CDs, and have a fairly large collection of albums. I love the sound of the record player's needle touching down on a record. I like the outdoors, camping, canoeing, and hiking. Being from a fairly rural part of Canada, I have had many trips and adventures in the great Canadian wilderness.
